um, have you heard of jeffree star?

okay - to keep you from thinking i'm a complete freak, let me preface this by saying that i was not a fan in the beginning. as all my friends know, my little sister margaux is often my source of new music. she may be 15, but she certainly knows her stuff. she's constantly discovering new songs/bands which go on to be super popular months later. & even if they don't appear on the radio, they're fondly grouped with the underground cool music that only badasses know about. i'm pretty sure that this character will fall in the latter category.

so, that being said, let me introduce you to the tranny ferosh jeffree star. he is sick, out of control, inapprop, and all in all, hilarious.

i hope you hit it off.

these photos remind me so much of my nana and great aunt. i've heard stories & let me tell you - they were wild women in their youth. how i wish i could've spent a day gambling, dancing, champagning at noon & getting into trouble with those little ladies. ;)

& i'm kind of really proud of it. :)

thanks to casey's suggestion, i think i'm going to look into creating handmade stationary.

i have absolutely no idea what goes into doing that, so this could be interesting.

it's very possible that this stationary talk will end up as another of my many "great" ideas that gets pushed to the side & forgotten after a few weeks time.

ijs. it wouldn't be the first time.

i've done nothing but lounge at the pool this weekend.

& i don't have any complaints.

i just realized last night that if it weren't for the fact that i'm half jobless & living with my parents like a complete loser, i probably wouldn't have found that old sketch book packed away, which is what encouraged me to start drawing again. i also probably wouldn't have nearly as much time to blog & enjoy the lovely chicago summer weather, which we all know will be gone too soon.

i used to be strictly anti when it came to sheer tights, always opting for the opaque variety or none at all. but i've been seeing sheer black tights pop up lately & i'm loving them!

especially with the sweet little polka dots. hearts? extra points. :)

remember when i said that i wanted to be a fashion designer when i was little? well even though i've (mostly) given up on that dream, i still pretend sometimes.

i love fashion. i love to draw. & i especially love to draw fashion.

so that is exactly what i did while watching pride & prejudice (oh, & marie antoinette too) last night.

well ever since i saw this photo, i've been obsessing over these awesomely sexy rock star heels. just this friday i was thinking about how perfectly they would have gone with the outfit i wanted to wear but couldn't because i didn't have the right shoes to finish it off.

i ate a sickening amount of food at heaven on seven today.

it was amazing & i was hungry.

i'm psyched about the expected summer weather we have coming to us in chicago this week.

i'm really going to miss my walk/runs around the midwest club.

we're officially moving. who knows when though. or where.

margaux & i are slowly making our way through the disney classics.

so far we've covered: aladdin, little mermaid, snow white, sleeping beauty, jungle book, 101 dalmatians, peter pan, alice in wonderland, beauty & the beast, hercules.

on queue: lion king, cinderella, dumbo, three caballeros, robin hood, pocahontas.

i think i did something not good this weekend, pretty much screwing up my chances with both of the boys i'm currently interested in.

...i may or may not elaborate on this topic, depending on how this week & next weekend go...

i updated my itunes with some ballin new songs.

i desperately need an apartment so that i can actually do something with all these design ideas i have floating around in my head & on my computer. & if said gorgeous apartment could be in paris, well that would be even more spectacular.

i'm going to start looking for jobs over there. like, ones with companies that also have offices in chicago so that i could transfer back after 6 months or a year. how completely fabulous would that be!?
