whit and i were shameless tourists all day friday, hitting up beverly hills, the grove, robertson ave and hollywood blvd. and we got to hang out with/stay with anne!

then we drove to long beach for vetter's weddingggggggg.

4th of july weekend

i went to aaron's lake house in michigan with the boys.

it was really fun. we played catch phrase, went out on the lake and partied on the sandbar.

i said "i don't think i'm ever going to feel better" on saturday night. the first time this year - go me.

then lise and i spent the 4th with our families in the burbs.

we watched the fireworks and walked a million miles to satisfy our dairy queen craving.

Sunday (Monday) Night Confessional

i'm back from watercolor and i miss my friends already!!

it got weird.

sadly, i forgot my camera so i have very little to show for it.

it may or may not have something to do with the fact that i missed my flight thinking it was 2+ hours later than it actually was. when i got a call from casey at 11:05 am asking if i had boarded my 11:25 flight, i was still in my towel, makeup-less with wet hair.

apparently i don't know how to put on spray sunscreen.

i was referred to as "sunburns" or "cat in the hat" all weekend.

this beast was in the middle seat next to me on the plane ride home from dallas to chicago.

after traveling all day, it was pretty awesome to see that the row in front of us comprised of two skinny girls with no one seated between them. of course.
then i was presented with this visual snack while waiting for my bag in the airport.

gorge!! and to continue the theme of the weekend, my bag was lost in dallas. so after waiting for everyone to clear out i headed over by the baggage peeps and arranged for them to deliver it this morning.

but despite all the bad luck (read: i'm retarded), i had the best time!

and my sunburn is now more of a glowing tan.

just over one month until the crew is back in watercolor for our 3rd annual reunion!!!!!

i came across this post while searching for watercolor photos. it made me sad.

because despite talking a big game, i have lost touch with some of the people i considered my best friends in the world this time last year. i still love you guys! like marce always says though, friendship is a 2-way street. i've definitely been trying to be a better friend... so CALL ME BACK.

a social liberal but fiscal conservative, i decided to take "the world's smallest political quiz" to find out where exactly i fall on the spectrum.

apparently i'm a centrist, bordering conservative.

i'm watching step up.

it was a wild weekend, kids!

i went up to lake geneva with my cousin lisa, a bunch of her guy/girl friends, taryn and liz. the guys rented a house & a yacht - & it was out. of. control.

i could move to lake geneva. seriously. i love it that much.
